Group
An engaging 60 minute Pilates mat session designed for 4 participants in a welcoming and supportive environment. Experience the joy of mindful movement as you connect with your practice and your fellow classmates. Together we’ll cultivate a sense of community through the principles of Pilates and its purposeful movements.

What are the benefits of personalized Pilates in a home setting?
Personalized Pilates offers intentional exercises, tailored cueing, and focused attention on form, making it perfect for clients with specific goals, those returning to exercise after injury, and clients looking to elevate their practice. This setting also provides an excellent introduction for beginners, helping them build a strong foundation in Pilates knowledge and movements.

How do I schedule a Pilates session?
Go to Schedule with Roux and submit the form. We will give you a call shortly after to schedule your virtual consultation (privates only) and initial visit. For follow up visits you will schedule directly with the instructor.

How should I prepare for my Pilates visit?
Please have all intake paperwork completed and emailed to hello@rouxpilates.com and payments submitted prior to your first visit. Please dress in attire that allows you to move freely and comfortably. Designate an area in your home or yard for your session, ideally an area with ample floor & wall space, minimal clutter and somewhere to sit. All Pilates equipment is provided.

Is it safe to do Pilates while pregnant?
Yes, exercise throughout pregnancy is important for the overall health of mom and baby. Pilates helps to improve spine and hip mobility, core and pelvic floor strength and breathing which can ease labor and delivery, decrease risk for Diastasis Recti, and improve post natal outcomes. We offer pregnancy friendly props and will tailor your program to your stage of pregnancy. However, we do not advise introducing any new form of exercise once you are in your third trimester.
When is it safe to start Pilates after giving birth?
Once you have been cleared by your doctor to return to exercise which usually happens around 6-8 weeks postpartum barring any complications. Our in-home services are great for new moms getting settled into their new roles and working around a newborn's schedule. Our postpartum program allows for bonding with your little one as well, as exercises can incorporate both mom and baby.

Does Pilates help improve sports performance?
Yes, Pilates has been shown to improve Running economy (how efficiently you use energy while running), increase swing power in rotational athletes (golf, tennis, baseball etc) and decrease risk of overuse injuries. Pilates boosts breathing efficiency and lung capacity, addresses muscular imbalances, and improves motor control and movement coordination, all of which contribute to better sports performance.
